Windle International Kenya

Windle International Kenya operates across the country, with notable presence in both Dadaab and Kakuma Refugee Camps. WIK supports refugee and host communities in the areas of secondary and tertiary education, vocational training, and English language programmes.

Secondary Education Enrolment (Q2 2023):

Female Pupils: 2,341

Male Pupils: 3,661

Total: 6,002

Special Needs Education:

WIK is currently supporting 26 students with disabilities by having them admitted into national schools for students with disabilites.

DAFI Scholarship Enrolment (Q2 2023):

Currently there are 120 female students and 358 male students receiving DAFI scholarships to attend university.

ICT Integration in Schools and STEM

53 learners registered to take the 2023 KCSE in computer studies due after WIK helped install digital learning centres in schools.

Girl-Child Interventions

WIK offers remedial classes to girls who have fallen behind in their studies due to gender-related barriers. Mentoring and counselling services are also offered.

Diploma Courses for Women

11 female students are currently enrolled in diploma courses in Community Health and Development, Counselling Psychology, and Nutrition and Dietetics.
